UM Diagnostics uses the same advanced technology for both legal and at-home tests. The key difference lies in the sample collection process. At-home tests allow for convenient sample collection in your own home, while legal tests require strict chain-of-custody protocols to meet legal standards.
Our at-home tests are highly accurate, excluding, on average, 99.99% of non-fathers.
You will receive a DNA collection kit from UM Diagnostics. The kit includes four cotton swabs for each person providing a sample. To collect a DNA sample, simply rub a swab inside the cheek.
